USING NERVE
Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Nerve mobile app and trynerve.app, provided by Anton Lev, Ukraine.
Effective: September 20, 2026 · Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
By using Nerve, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Contact us at hello@trynerve.app.
The iOS app is also licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Apple’s applicable terms govern your App Store transaction. These terms supplement that license and do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
2. What the service does
Nerve helps you practice conversations with AI and reflect on feedback. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or inconsistent. Scores and suggestions are practice aids, not objective judgments about you or other people, and do not guarantee any real-world result.
Nerve is not therapy, a medical service, legal or financial advice, an emergency service, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not rely on it for diagnosis, treatment, safety-critical decisions, or emergencies. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
3. Your account
Use accurate information, keep access to your sign-in account secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate someone, share access in ways that circumvent service limits, or use another person’s account without permission.
Different sign-in methods may access the same Nerve account where supported. Review the account shown before linking a provider. Our handling of account information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your content and AI processing
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You grant us permission to process, store, transmit to service providers, and use that content as necessary to provide and maintain the features you request, enforce these terms, and comply with law. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Only submit content you have the right to use. Avoid unnecessary personal details about other people, confidential documents, and sensitive information. You are responsible for checking AI output before using it. Outputs may not be unique and may be similar to outputs provided to others.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use Nerve for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, fraud, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Do not use the service to create threats, facilitate violence, or exploit children.
- Do not bypass authentication, payment, usage limits, or safety controls, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not extract the service at scale or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, non-payment, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms.
6. Purchases, subscriptions, and practice time
Available plans, prices, included practice time, billing periods, and any trial or promotional conditions are shown in the app and Apple purchase sheet before you buy. Do not assume an allowance is unlimited or that unused practice time carries forward unless the offer explicitly says so.
Payment is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Apple may charge for renewal within the final 24 hours. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, subject to applicable law and Apple’s terms.
Uninstalling the app or deleting a Nerve account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple, subject to its policies and your statutory rights. Restore Purchases is subject to a valid eligible purchase and its remaining entitlement; it does not promise fresh practice time or recovery of deleted practice content.
7. Availability and changes
Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control. We may introduce limits to keep the service reliable. We will provide notice of material changes to paid services or these terms where required by law. Nerve is not offered for sale in Russia; availability elsewhere depends on the App Store and applicable restrictions.
8. Ending use and deleting an account
You may stop using Nerve at any time. To delete your account, use the Account screen or contact hello@trynerve.app. Cancel any subscription separately through Apple. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and retention. We may terminate access for a material violation, subject to notice and other requirements imposed by applicable law.
9. Responsibility and consumer protections
To the extent permitted by law, Nerve is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or a particular outcome. We are not responsible for decisions you make solely on the basis of AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable protections against fraud, intentional misconduct, or other non-excludable liability.
Your mandatory rights as a consumer remain in place. Nothing here requires you to waive rights, remedies, or access to courts that applicable law protects.
10. Law, disputes, and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without depriving you of mandatory protections under the laws of your place of residence. Any applicable mandatory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
