YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Nerve processes information when you use the mobile app or visit trynerve.app.
Effective: September 20, 2026 · Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Who is responsible
Nerve is operated by Anton Lev, based in Ukraine, who is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact hello@trynerve.app for privacy questions or requests.
2. Information we process
- Account and profile: an account identifier, sign-in provider identifiers, email address, and profile details you provide, such as your name and date of birth. Apple may provide a private relay email if you choose Hide My Email. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
- Practice content: your scenario descriptions, messages, transcripts, selected images or documents, goals, AI responses, and feedback. Audio is processed when you use voice practice or dictation. Transcripts and related practice history may be stored in your account.
- Purchases and usage: subscription status, product and transaction identifiers, practice-time allowances and usage, and records needed to administer purchases. Apple handles payment details; we do not receive your full card number.
- Technical information: app and device information, language, time zone, network information such as IP address, errors, and service-usage records. Device integrity signals may be used to prevent abuse of free allowances.
- Support: your email and anything you choose to send when you contact us.
Microphone, camera, photos, and notifications are used only for the corresponding features and subject to device permissions. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Avoid submitting unnecessary identifying, confidential, or sensitive information about yourself or other people.
3. Why we use it
We use information to authenticate you, keep your profile and practice history, generate and evaluate practice conversations, transcribe speech, provide subscriptions and practice time, respond to support requests, keep the service secure, troubleshoot failures, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use conversation content for advertising.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required for optional processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. AI, voice, and service providers
Nerve uses service providers to operate the app. Relevant information is sent to them when needed for the feature you use:
- Supabase: account authentication, database, file storage, and backend processing.
- Google Gemini: AI conversation, scenario generation, voice interaction, and feedback. This can include the context, transcripts, audio, or attachments needed for your request.
- Deepgram: speech transcription for dictation features.
- Apple and Google: sign-in services; Apple also processes App Store purchases.
- RevenueCat: subscription and purchase-entitlement administration.
- Sentry: error diagnostics. Our diagnostic configuration excludes conversation text, attachments, screenshots, and session replay; standard network metadata, including IP address, may be processed.
- Vercel: hosting and delivery of this website, including operational and security logs.
Providers process information under their applicable agreements and policies, which may include retention for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. We do not promise that every provider offers zero retention. Do not treat a practice conversation as a confidential professional consultation.
Google sign-in information is used for account access and identification, not to read your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or calendar. Nerve’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
5. Sharing and international processing
We share information with providers for the purposes above, when you request it, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, prevent fraud, or address security incidents. If the service is transferred, information may be transferred subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.
You may use Nerve in a different country from where we or our providers process data. Information may be processed in Ukraine, the European Economic Area, the United States, or other provider locations. Where required, international transfers must use applicable safeguards, such as contractual protections. Contact us for information about transfers relevant to your account.
6. Storage, retention, and deletion
We retain account and practice information while it is needed to provide your account and saved history. You can delete available content in the app and request account deletion from the Account screen. You can also contact us to request deletion or access to your information.
Account deletion removes the active account and associated practice data through our deletion process. Some records may remain where needed for purchase reconciliation, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations; billing records may be anonymized rather than erased. Backup copies and provider records may persist according to their applicable retention and backup cycles. We retain such information only for the relevant purpose and applicable requirements.
The app also stores data on your device. Authentication credentials use iOS secure storage. Signing out is not the same as deleting your account: cached practice data may remain on the device until it is cleared or another account signs in. Removing the app does not itself delete server-side account data.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact hello@trynerve.app; we may ask for proportionate information to verify ownership of an account. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel it through your Apple account. See our support page.
8. Website cookies and logs
This website does not use advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. Our hosting infrastructure may process request details, IP addresses, and essential security or delivery information to serve and protect the site. Links to other websites are governed by their own privacy policies.
9. Adults only
Nerve is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide the service to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version; we will provide additional notice of material changes where required. Questions: hello@trynerve.app, Anton Lev, Ukraine.
